How Tantra Changed My Relationship with Everything

I used to think Tantra was all about sex. Ancient positions, Kama Sutra stuff. That’s all I really knew, and honestly, I didn’t look much deeper. I’m glad I was wrong.

Tantra is actually much older and much richer than I imagined. It started in India, over two thousand years ago, as a way to bring more awareness and presence into everyday life. Sex is only a small part of it.
I’m not someone who’s into rituals or long ceremonies, so I skipped all that. What I found instead was something quiet and powerful. A practice that taught me to see my body differently. To slow down and truly connect.
The more I breathed, moved, and stayed present with myself, the more things started to shift. I didn’t just experience sex differently - I started to feel everything differently.
I learned to accept my body for what it is, instead of constantly judging it. I found pleasure in places I used to overlook .I stopped rushing. I started listening. Not just to others, but to myself.
It’s still a big part of my life journey. But it’s already changed how I love, how I touch, how I live.
And for that, I’m grateful.
